Its funny how one person’s means of salvation is another’s nightmare. The devil loves to remind us of our past and use it to bring us down in the future. One thing I’ve learned is God allows us to go through certain things in order to learn a lesson and as any wise person pass it on to others. If your struggling with the constant reminder of an unmentionable past I’m here to remind you that once you asked God for forgiveness He forgave you and casted that sinful past into the ocean of forgetfulness to never be remembered. If God can’t remember why should you? Don’t be afraid to put the devil in his place, plead the blood and remind him of his future. It not wrong to use our past as an equalizer, but let us not use it as a means of self defeat. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. (Ecclesiastes 3:15 KJV) For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, (Romans 3:25 NLT) “ Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future. ”-Paul Boese
